Repairs for the fixtures you use every day.

A running toilet or dripping tap can waste water and become more disruptive over time. Other faults—such as a toilet that will not flush properly, a stiff mixer or a leak at a connection—can affect how the room is used and may damage nearby surfaces.

Toilet faults

Running cisterns, weak or incomplete flushing, leaking connections, loose fittings and water appearing around the fixture.

Tap faults

Drips, stiff handles, leaking spouts or bases, inconsistent flow and worn or damaged components.

Repairing before replacing where appropriate

The right solution depends on the fixture condition and whether compatible repair components are available. We assess the problem, explain what can reasonably be repaired and discuss replacement if that is the more appropriate option.

  • Bathroom, kitchen, laundry and outdoor taps
  • Toilet cistern and flush faults
  • Leaks at accessible fixture connections
  • Fixture replacement discussions where needed
  • Testing after approved work

Toilet and tap questions

Why does my toilet keep running?

A cistern component may not be sealing or operating correctly, but the fixture needs to be inspected to confirm which part is causing the flow.

Can a dripping tap usually be repaired?

Many dripping taps can be repaired, depending on the type and condition of the tap and whether suitable parts are available. We assess this before recommending replacement.

What if water is leaking around the toilet?

Avoid using the toilet if water is escaping onto the floor, particularly if the water may be contaminated. Arrange an inspection so the source can be identified.
